United in Death, United in Life
My response to the ABC is more about the renewal (“sanctification” as opposed to “justification”) aspect of salvation, a less obvious aspect to the Cross but just as important — that the saved will continue to be saved from themselves.
Part 1 addresses the first phase: realizing our need for Christ.
Part 2 addresses the second phase: crucifying our old self with Christ.
Part 3 addresses the third phase: having new life in Christ.
Parts and division into posts are still in draft, and though they will all be addressed, the overlapping nature of the concepts may result in deletions, additions, and the such.
Apologies for my laziness. This spring break has been rather difficult in getting things done.
Ankle, why dost thou fail me now? I jest. But this incident has been rather humbling.
Praise God, from whom all good things come and from that one that overcomes our own brokenness,
Tim
I’m not sure about the chronological order of those four parts.
